Mom’s Play-dough

1 cup flour

½ cup salt

1 Tbsp oil

1 cup water

2 tsp cream of tartar

food coloring

Mix dry ingredients.  Add oil and water.  Cook for 3 minutes until mixture pulls away from side of pan.  Consistency will be that of mashed potatoes.  Knead color into it
